Esser High Impact Elbows and Reducers

The Esser Twin Cast Elbow for the impact area on the boom: This elbow is designed to be mounted second from the last on the jib section, as this is an area which produces high wear from the falling concrete. The elbow is fabricated using a steam hardening process on the cast inner pipe and mounted in a mild steel outer pipe and completed with two patented Esser 900 Twin Cast flanges. This elbow also has a hardness of 67 HRC throughout the entire inner cast pipe. These elbows should be used with both 660 and 900 systems in order to yield the longest service life possible for the impact area.

The Esser Twin Wall Reducer: The Esser Twin Wall Reducer is manufactured using high tensile laminated steel. The Esser Reducers are manufactured to all of the common lengths needed for truck mounted concrete pumps. They are available with several different flange sizes and designs in order to meet the specifications of the pump manufacturers. The reducers are manufactured with a total wall thickness of 8mm (4.0 + 4.0) and fitted with patented Esser flanges. The reducers have a hardness of up to 65 HRC throughout the entire reducer length and a full depth (4mm) of the inner layer, thus yielding up to 300% longer service life over single wall hardened reducers.
